It’s
already time for 2014-2015 YISS Calendar! This is a great opportunity for students
to showcase their artwork. So pick up your paintbrush for a chance to
become one of the next YISS calendar artists!

What does
YISS mean to you? What was your favorite event of the year?
Theme
This
year’s theme is “Our Community, YISS.”
The contest will give students a chance to reflect upon special moments or
events, show how much you love YISS, and show how much fun you have as a part
of the YISS school community!
Contest Guidelines - Eligibility: Kindergarten - Grade12 Students
- Artwork Format: Artwork must be hand drawn. All coloring
materials and styles are accepted in 2-dimensional format. No photographs, computer-generated
images or video works will be accepted.
· Entries
should not be smaller than A4 (8.5” x 11”) or larger than A2 (16.5” x 23.4”).
- Submission Deadline: Submit
your artwork by Friday, February 7,
2014, to the Elementary, Middle or High School Office.
- Fill out
and attach the Calendar Art Contest Submission Form to the back of your artwork.
Please do not include your name or
signature on the front of your artwork.

Each drawing must include contestant’s personal information
on the back of the artwork: name, age, grade, email, and phone number.
· Artwork
must be relevant to the theme “Our
Community, YISS.”
· Parents
and adults may guide children but may not participate directly in the artwork.
· Each
participant can submit a maximum of three art pieces.
· Artwork
will be returned after the contest is over. Winning pieces will be
reproduced in the 2013-2014 YISS Calendar. All contestants will be given a
participation prize.
