Book Fair

Please come and join us for the YISS Fall Book Fair 2022, hosted by the PTO and YISS Libraries, in collaboration with TongBang Books from Tuesday, November 29, to Friday, December 2. The book fair will be open for members of the YISS community from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday to Thursday and from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday.

GREAT PRICES - Book fairs offer those in the YISS community an excellent opportunity to buy books at discounts of 30% or more off retail prices. Paperback books cost about ￦7,000 and hardcover books generally start around ￦12,000.

CLASSROOM LIBRARY DONATIONS - Parents also have an opportunity to sponsor a book for their child's ES/MS classroom library. Choose a book selected by your child's teacher from the Classroom Library Donation shelf. Once it is purchased, add your child's name on the inside front cover using a special label. Visit the book fair to learn more.

REUSABLE BAGS - Please bring reusable bags or receive a free canvas bag when you purchase over ￦100,000 worth of books.

CLASS VISITATION SCHEDULE - All of our ES homerooms and MS ELA classes will visit the book fair as a class. View the Class Visitation Schedule.

VOLUNTEERS - To make this valuable event a success, we are in need of many parent volunteers. Volunteers are needed to assist children and other parents as they choose books during the book fair. If you are able to help, please complete the Volunteer Sign-up form. View the Volunteer Schedule

As always, 10% of book fair sales are used to support reading-related initiatives.
