Music Enrichment
YISS PTO is currently organizing a community wide art project, "Home Away from Home" which will involve K-12 students, teachers and parent volunteers at YISS to create a large piece of art for the school's main lobby. A creative composition of Seoul landmarks designed by one of our students will be enlarged and cut into 40 coloring units, then distributed to all YISS community to color (think mosaic! take a look at the attached sample photo for reference). Colored pieces will then be cut into 25 printing units, scanned and printed on 1,000 tiles. These tiles will then be installed on the large wall next to the business office and the admissions office. For this project, a design contest is in progress among HS and MS students and we will be selecting a winning design on April 15.

2013-2014 YISS Calendar Art Contest
74 submissions of art work were made to our calendar art contest with the theme, "Habitat: Imagine That!"
The work of 29 semifinalists were framed and displayed in the lobby for all to see.
The work of 15 finalists were selected and will be featured in the 2013-2014 YISS Calendar
that will be available next Fall.
